Korean Barbecue Burgers

Sirloin mixed with green onion, brown sugar, ginger, soy, toasted sesame oil, black pepper and garlic. Burger patties are grilled to desired doneness and served on hamburger buns.
Ingredients -
1/2 cup chopped Green Onions
1 1/2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons minced peeled Fresh Ginger
3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil
1/2 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
2 Garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 pounds Ground Sirloin
6 Gourmet Hamburger Buns, split and toasted
6 Romaine Lettuce Leaves
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped green onions, brown sugar, fresh ginger, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, fresh ground pepper, and minced garlic.

3. Add ground sirloin and mix in gently.

4. Divide burger mixture into 6 equal balls, and shape into ½ inch thick patties.

5. Grill patties to desired doneness (4 to 6 minutes per side equals medium to medium well)

6. Remove from grill and allow burgers to rest before serving.
