Barbecue And Corn Bread Bake

Simple ground beef and cornbread casserole. Sauteed ground beef and onions mixed with tomato and barbecue sauces, and combined with egg, cornbread mix and corn. Baked until top is crispy.
Ingredients -
1 pound Lean Ground Beef
1 Onion, chopped
1 (8 ounces) can Tomato Sauce
1/3 cup Barbecue Sauce
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 cup Milk
1 (7 ½ ounces) package Corn Bread Mix
1/2 cup Frozen Corn
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 425 F.

2. Grease heatproof casserole dish.

3. Saute ground beef and onions in large skillet 8 minutes, or until beef is browned and onions are tender.

4. Stir in tomato and barbecue sauces.

5. Add mixture to casserole dish.

6. In medium bowl, combine egg, milk, cornbread mix and corn. Mix well

7. Pour cornbread mixture over ground beef and onions.

8. Bake 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
